2 Day Class – March 5-6, 2026
Like a musical composition made up of several movements, Concerto offers some repeated motifs, twists on familiar stitches and asymmetry to enhance the rhythm of the stitching. Experienced stitchers will appreciate the challenge, while less experienced stitchers can learn new techniques with step by step instructions and video stitch demonstrations.
Concerto was designed as a companion to Angles, featuring a grayscale palette with red accents. The class kit will include the red accent threads, but if a student wishes to change the color I will provide a list for them, so they can stitch a project that reflects their favorite colors and personality.
A plethora of stitches include Kitty’s double fan doubled, herringbone squares, mistake stitch, walneto, Amadeus, Chilly Hollow, many sizes and shapes of Jessicas, crescents and many more!
Concerto is an impressive 10” x 10”, 180 x 180 stitches on 18 ct. mono deluxe canvas. A lot of the stitches are large, and will cover the canvas quickly in this fast paced class.

Kit Contents/Cost: $225. The kit includes a 16”x16” pewter canvas with taped edges, Rainbow Gallery Neon Rays, Neon Rays+, Silk Lame’ Braid, Silk Lame’ Plus, Panache, DMC #8 pearl cottons and flosses, Kreinik #4, #8 and #12 Braids, needles and extensive printed instruction book.
Stitcher to provide:
16”x 16” stretcher bars and tacks or staples to attach the canvas to stretcher bars. Highlighter and usual stitching supplies including light, laying tool, frame stand or weight, magnifier and extension cord if needed.
